If you love skiing, you’ll thirst for information about new equipment, tips on better technique, plus updates on in-season skiing conditions. You can check weather websites to see where the snow is piling up, but they’re not going to target the skier’s needs. Here are seven super ski sport websites we think you should check out as a novice or avid skier.

Planet Ski

The first thing we noticed about this website is the appealingly colorful page design. This site is very easy to navigate and presents links to detailed ski and snow sport information in a right-hand sidebar.

They provide up-to-date information on ski conditions and which resorts are open for business. Planet Ski follows trends in ski sports, plus has a full list of pages dedicated to ski trips, family skiing, including ski school information.

Skis.com

  1. com says it clearly right across the top menu. It is a site designed for people who love to ski. The imagery used will immediately grab your attention. It is a well-designed site that scrolls smoothing, keeping videos, articles and information tabs in orderly blocks.

There is also a nice selection of articles and information for beginners. Skis.com provides reviews of the latest ski gear, plus helps direct skiers to places that are offering excellent ski trip packages. As they insist, if you love to ski, you’ll love this website.

The Brave Ski Mom

The website name may seem to pinpoint only mommy skiers. However, don’t be fooled by the name. Yes, it is a website with a wealth of information dedicated to mothers who love to ski. But, anyone who enjoys skiing or snow sports can find loads of engaging material.

A neat feature is the itemized review of ski resorts by country. This is a magnificent tool for the traveling skier, mother or otherwise. The Brave Ski Mom also has a small section about things important to parents. It’s an excellent ski site for skiing moms, plus moms and dads of skiers.

Style Altitude

If up-to-date ski information is important, you’ll want Style Altitude on your bookmarks bar. They clearly put the words “daily” across the title bar of their blog. They have a clean layout for mobile users to scroll across for weekly reports that are categorized by day.

Style Altitude has a nice section with ski and snowboard gear reviews. Across the bottom footer they have organized links to special contributions from ski photography, plus health and fitness editors. This is an informative website that is laid out in an easy-to-use, user-friendly style.

On The Snow

The next website we enjoy visiting regularly targets thousands of ski resorts. One nice thing we found immediately was the ability to input a country search to find a specific ski resort. This reduces the time and effort to search for ski conditions to nearly nothing.

The site allows for members to rate different aspects of their ski experience as well. On The Snow also has webcams showing recent snowfall from various ski resorts. They list inches of accumulation, including targeted updates from the snowiest ski resorts in North America.

Ski Magazine

You can always read the hard copy of our next website, but Ski Magazine also offers the same in depth ski reports on their website. It’s referred to by skiing enthusiasts as SkiMag for short. They offer a nice gallery of topics from gear reviews recent ski news reports.

One of the useful features on the Ski Magazine website is the detailed reviews and links to trends for new skis and boots. Other than websites that specifically sell skis and snow sport equipment, this is one of the more informative places to review new skis.

Mountain Heaven

The last of our seven favorite websites for ski sports is set up as a blog. There are entertaining and informative articles, but that’s not all. Mountain Heaven has a nice selection of topics related to ski news, plus blogs about the ski life.

They also have a unique section dedicated to the technology of skiing. Like many ski and snow sports websites, they review equipment and keep you up-to-date on resort news. Mountain Heaven has a diverse number of contributors who provide captivating articles about an array of ski sport topics.

These are seven super websites to stay connected to skiing, even when you can’t get out on the slopes. Each has a select group of benefits, but they all provide excellent information about ski resorts, equipment, and up-to-date happenings in the world of skiing and snow sports. A regular visit to these seven sites can help feed your need for ski.
